My entry for January Cith of Heroes fan art battle. The theme was the olympics, and I used Ghost Widow. She has a different costume in the game, but I wanted to show a different side to her, so I changed it. Figured it didn't matter since figure skaters change their costumes all the time.

I wanted to use a flower associated with death, darkness, etc., and after a quick search deadly nightshade seemed like the perfect choice. I also found out that Ghost Widow's real name was Belladona Vetrano, and belladona is another name for nightshade.

I was originally going to have her skate with a flower bud which would gradually bloom, but decided it was too much extra work.

The city background is loosely based on a view in Vancouver, where the winter games will be held next month.
